Bulbs of steel

I tell you what, I'm really very impressed with 60 Watt and their full page spreads in the Scotsman at the moment. They're also clocking up quarter pages, which I've seen in the Saturday mags. These guys have stuck their necks out and are putting their money where their mouth is. Bravo.

What's more, I like their ads. "Kill The Squander Bug" has nifty art direction and the copy throughout the campaign is top quality. It's great to see a Scottish ad agency stand up and be counted, especially in the current skinto, depressing, recession-obsessed financial climate.

If I was a client I'd seriously take a second look at the agency. They're gutsy, small, have a wealth of experience and their Edinburgh Leisure stuff is great. Hell, forget being a client. I want to work for them!
