I am posting up a quick one, just to say that I have decided to try and fund raise for the 10K run at the end of May as part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival.
I am attempting to raise much needed funds for Myeloma UK, who are an Edinburgh-based charity that help people suffering from myeloma. They are the only charity in the whole of the UK that offer specific support and help to people with this cancer, so it's pretty clear that they need all the dosh they can get so they can keep doing an incredibly important job.
My family has been directly affected by this absolute scoundrel of a disease, so I'm hoping I can beat my target of £150. I felt I should post this up here in case anyone who reads this blog has been affected by this cancer in some way and wants to help kick its arse.
